Assessment & Diagnosis
- Comprehensive child and adolescent psychiatric assessments
- Developmental history and diagnostic evaluations informed by DSM-5 criteria
- ADHD assessments incorporating clinical interviews, standardised rating scales, and collateral reports
- Autism spectrum assessments as part of a multidisciplinary diagnostic pathway
- Assessment of mood, anxiety, behavioural, emotional regulation, and neurodevelopmental presentations
- Review of previous diagnoses and treatment histories
Medication Management
- Medication initiation when clinically indicated
- Careful titration and monitoring of psychotropic medication
- Ongoing review of efficacy, side effects, and tolerability
- Medication reviews for children and adolescents already prescribed treatment
Ongoing Care & Collaboration
- Regular psychiatric follow-up and treatment reviews
- Parent consultations and psychoeducation
- Close collaboration with psychology, therapy services, schools, and paediatric providers
- Integrated care planning within the multidisciplinary team
